| Chrysler T&C 1996.MOVThu, 20 Nov 2008 13:31:29 -0800 by 1996ChryslerI don't normally drive aggressively, as I did in the video - this was to demonstrate the mechanical attributes as they stand currently.The A/C does not work. In the summer, when you turn it on, it's same effect as having the vent on. All power windows work. The power locks usually work, but specifically, the passenger side power lock will make a noise but doesn't always work. Better to manually lock/unlock that door to make sure. The switch for the power door locks on the front passenger side is missing. The master switch on the driver's side does absolutely work. And the passenger front door lock works just fine manually.We've had this van over a year, driving to and from the ER at the local hospital, where I work. It's getting over 19.5 mpg, which is at least 50% city driving. The CD player and Cassette player both worked when we bought it. I usually just listen to the radio. The lady I bought the van from in 2007 claimed it had a new transmission. She works 3 miles from the hospital where I work. So, either way, there have never been any real problems with this van mechanically. Electronically, however, Chrysler's -touch- seems in effect. Randomly or sporadically, silly things work, don't work, etc. Like the wipers, during intermittent, will pause, or work outright, as if on low. This has happened on more than one occasion. New tires on the front, tires on the back are still good. Brakes have always functioned as intended. ABS does activate without trouble.Engine is a 3.8L - Power: 124 kW , 166 HP @ 4,300 rpm; 227 ft lb @ 3,100 rpm. It's a front wheel drive, with stow-n-go seats for second and third row. Front and back climate controls.The relay/resister for the vent fan (settings 1-2-3-4) was taken out. I was going to replace it but didn't buy another. So only the 4(high) setting works at the Chrysler electronic functionality discretion - a.k.a. 'work at will.' No known collision accidents. Non-smoker for the last year.
