| Let the American Auto Makers Take Care Of ThemselvesThu, 20 Nov 2008 16:48:39 -0800 by davidwaters69Ive got freinds in Detroit and Chicago and I know What depresion it will cause for the auto makers to go ot of buisiness but seriously , The people that work for Gm, ford, and Chrysler all know first hand the kind of crap that these company's have been putting out. The Last Gm car that i bought was a 8 year old cutlas siera about 10 years ago is when i bought it. I payed 250 bucks for it at an auto auction in Texas. It was allready rotting to the ground then. The only reason i bought it was because it was 250 bucks.I had to prop the window up with a 2 by 4.. I'll admit nobody ever made a better truck than my 72 dodge 100 with the 3 on the tree. and ive never intentionaly owned a ford however i did own one of those piece of crap 84 ford f150's. ( what a bucket of bolts )They all use to make good ones and now its beginning to be hard to find anything that corporate america makes thats any good.. I say to hell with all of them, they havent listened to us in 30 years or more. nobody bails out the small buisiness man and i dont want my tax dollars going to anyone who voted republican or anyone who had anything to do with the Death of Stan meyers. The oil companys have been paying off Gm and ford to make gas gusslers and I owned a 94 Geo metro that got close to 60 miles per gallon. Now the best they can do is like 42 miles per gallon. This has all been a set up. Not to mention that I myself and my family have been living in a depresion all our lives anyways so this economic dilusion wont hurt me anyways. Maybee rent will drop and the price of gas is looking pretty sweet right now allready. I will never bye another american made car untill the new auto makers come out (If they have a good one ) I drive alot of cars everyday, You gotta admit the Germans make the best ones and the Honda accord is probably the best deal on a great vehicle. But they are all overpriced when they are new. I'll stick to the 10 year old toyota's and honda's. Corporate America has gone to the birds. So i'll bye there Bird seed until they get a clue. Hell at this rate our Dollars wont even be anygood anyways..peaceDave Related: gm general motors ford chrysler bailout corporate america freedom. wallmart sears detroit michigan advice community random wisdom |
