This Is Now.Tue, 02 Dec 2008 13:41:43 -0800 by Awesomex80sHEY GUYS I WAS BORED SO I WROTE THIS! :D THIS IS JUST A SHORT STORY SO GIMME ALL YOUR COMMENTS :D XXXIT JUST A SHORT STORY! ONLY ABOUT 10ISH CHAPTERS :DI stood in the rain and waiting for him to come after me , like he always did.But this time ... he didnt.I should probably start from the beginning , to a much simplier time , a happier one. I was about 6 years old when they first moved here,It seems like such a long time now , but anyway i was sitting on the lawn all by myself , because my mom refused to let me have snacks before dinner and i was now in mood on the grass. When along came this maroon minivan and parked next door. Out of the van came three young boys followed by a older woman and man which i assumed were their parents.There was one older boy i didnt really catch his face , one i presumed was the middle child , and that last onethat caught my eye the most . His light curls fell across his face as he hopped out of the van and all of a sudden he turned and looked at me. I was just sitting there , on the grass like a fool whilst he started to walk towards me."Hi" he said"Hi" i replied"Nice Bow" he said sheepishly"Huh?""I Like Your Bow" I Looked at the frilly pink dress my mom had dressed me in , there across my waist was a HUGE pink bow. Gawd I hated that dress."Thanks i like your hair" He didnt say anything , he just smiled at me thoughtfully. "Alice!" "Come in now!" " Your dinners ready!" my mom called" Oh well i have to go now ... bye " i said a little sad and got up to walk back inside." Wait! " he called and ran over to meI looked at him. " My Names Nick. Nick Jonas " He smiled and shook my hand , and then ran inside his house.That was the first day i met Nick jonas.Ok so lets fast forward a little bit.I was ten years old. " ALICE! YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CANT HIDE! " Joe calledYeah right (!) like i was guna come out of my hiding spot when JOE was armed with a water gun.Just then the bushes started to shake , i braced myself for the cold water to hit my face , but it didnt. It was nick ."Alice !?" he whispered" NICK! GET OUT OF MY HIDING PLACE! JOE WILL GET US BOTH!" Nick never really seemed to grasp the concept of sports. Maybe it was coz he was only ten years old. Maybe it was coz he just REALLY didntlike sports . Either way if he didnt move we would both be in deep water. LITERALLY." HAHA GOTCHA!" Joe called from behind Nick Joe aimed the water gun at my face and i closed my eyes tight. "AHHHH" I ScreamedWait i didnt scream ... I opened my eyes to find a soaking wet Joe standing in front of me , where Nick and Kevin had just pelted himwith water.Joe was 13 years old and the middle child. He didnt look all that different from nick , when he didnt straighten his hair into a mohawk that is , hisnatural hair was dark and curly but not a curly as nicks. Kevins was as curly as nicks though. Being 15 years old made him the oldest , and he certainaly acted like it , then again he had to with a brother like Joe , he may be 13 but had to mental age of a 3 year old.He was such a joker , hence why he was running around with a water gun . But we still loved him all the same.Moving on ... 11 years old , and my mom had invited the jonas's over along with her new "boyfriend" or should i say "toyboy" he was 29 , and my mom was 42. YURKGH. I refused to eatin the same room as him , after he called my dad a "crazy buffoon". I wont have anyone talk about my dad this way. I threw the boilinghot soup at him and stormed out the room , leaving sniggers of Joe and Kevin behind me.I ran into the front yard when i could here footsteps behind me." Alice " He said softly.Nick had followed me ,like he always did.I just cried . I didnt want to go back in there and apologize to "Derek" . I just wanted to stay here sitting on the grass like i didthe first time i met nick.He didnt say anything , he just pulled me close and hugged me tight. I miss that.But thats all in the past now. Its different now. About a year after , Nicks dad got a new job , and they had to move . I was so mad thati ran outside the house and just kept on running. The rain was beating down hard on my face and then i just stopped. I Just waited.I stood in the rain and waiting for him to come after me , like he always did.But this time ... he didnt. I watched Kevin pace as he thought."How?" he finally whispered when he stopped."How?" I asked in a confused tone. "I think you know how." I laughed slightly."Don't laugh! THIS ISN'T FUNNY! THIS IS SERIOUS!" he yelled at me. I froze in fear. He took a deep breath and walk towards me."DO YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY? I NEED SOME HELP HERE!""WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO? WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING!" I yelled standing up."THAT'S WHY I'M TRYING TO THINK!" he yelled back. "KEVIN! WE! CAN'T! DO! ANY! THING!" I yelled the syllables. He looked angry as ever when I yelled that. I sat back down on the bed facing the window and stared into the cloudy sky. He sighed and sat down next to me. He tried to pull me closer to him but I shook him off."Baby, I'm sorry. I'm frustrated." He explained putting his arm around me. I crossed my arms and looked towards the wall away from him."Would you at least look at me!" he pulled me around roughly. I pulled away scared. I back up to the bed post and stared at him afraid he might snap. I did not want to relive another David incident."Erica, I'm sorry. Did I hurt you?" he asked concerned rubbing my arm. I looked away from him trying to not let the tears roll down my cheeks. I felt one roll down and he must have saw it. "I'm sorry." He whispered kissed my cheek gently. I looked at him and he wiped my tears. "for everything." He added."Don't be sorry for that. We're going to be okay." I said knowing what he meant by 'everything'"I just, never thought this would happen. To Joe, I could understand. But to me, and to you, it's honestly, hard to take it." He looked out the window. There was a knock on the door."Are you guys going to come down anytime soon?" Nick asked irritated."We'll talk about it later." I whispered. We took our few bags and opened the door to a very angry looking Nick."About time!" he said with an attitude."Excuse us! We were talking about something important!" I said back with an attitude."Yeah, talking, sure, I'll believe that!" he rolled his eyes and started to walk to the elevator.[Nick's P.O.V.]I got onto the elevator and waited for Kevin and Erica for a few seconds. I pressed the lobby button and the doors shut. I looked at my phone wondering when I'd get a phone call from her. I wondered how long it would take her. Kevin looked at me confused at why I was basically watching my phone in my hand. I put my phone in my pocket as the doors opened and we walked into the lobby when I felt my phone start to vibrate and then began to ring. They can make it.
