No sooner had the publisher announced the deal than speculation began to spread about what the second band-based Guitar Hero game would be. Along with Van Halen, the most mentioned group was Metallica, the legendary San Francisco Bay Area heavy-metal quartet. Time to ride the royalty lightning!Now, talk of Guitar Hero: Metallica is no longer a case of wishful thinking or idle speculation--it's fact. When sifting through an SEC filing of Activision's over the weekend, Wedbush Morgan Securities analyst Edward Woo--associate of the highly visible Michael Pachter--uncovered a gem in the section where the Santa Monica, California-based publisher discussed its upcoming game slate. "In fiscal 2009, we plan to publish Guitar Hero: On Tour for the NDS; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero IV across multiple platforms," the company said in its report. Activision's fiscal year ends on March 31, 2009, which means that the game will likely follow the holiday release of Guitar Hero: World Tour (nee Guitar Hero 4). Guitar Hero: Metallica will be the first time a game based on the multiplatinum-sellin g band--which has become only slightly less famous for its antipiracy efforts as its musical achievements--has made it to retail. However, it is the second such game to be announced. In 2003, Vivendi Games--which will soon merge with Activision--struck a deal to create a vehicular combat game inspired by Metallica's music. Unconfirmed reports stated that the project had been quietly canceled in 2005. In other news, Activision's SEC filing also confirmed that the next James Bond game, which will be developed by Treyarch using the Call of Duty 4 engine, will indeed be titled Quantum of Solace like the next James Bond film. But the video's progress might be halted.As far as the machinima goes, I am trying my best but I need 2 things to make my capture card work: AV jack Splitter, and Pinacle Studio 7-9 (any version from 7 to 9)I promise Haxx'd will be released for sure by christmas, but hopefully I can get it out sooner. | My Final Apologies & ThoughtsTue, 02 Dec 2008 10:07:26 -0800 by crepegirlI feel really ashamed of what I did in the months of September and October. In those two months, I pestered, annoyed and publicly humiliated Chris and I through my youtube videos. To my surprise, other websites have found these videos and posted them up along with the written description I typed up. If i were only a lot smarter back then, I would have never posted those degrading videos. I am deeply sorry for what I did, so here is my apology and my explanation. In the months of September and October I showed childish behavior by posting up my Christopher Lee summary videos where I spilled out my thoughts about the breakup. Back then, I couldn't bear the pain of being dumped immediately after we experienced together nearly two years worth of joy. I deleted most of these humiliating videos but kept two memory music videos because I felt our love was once very meaningful on many levels. Christopher explained to me countless times immediately after the breakup that he dumped me because he was tired of my pessimism and annoying behavior. He said he couldn't handle my insomnia anymore and felt often that he was taking care of me. He explained that he was never happy in the relationship and the joys we had were not significant in his mind. When I look back at what he said, I couldn't believe he would say our happiness wasn't that significant to him. The last day we were together he had a huge smile on his face. When my friend called me on my cell, she asked if my relationship was okay. On that last day, I smiled and looked at Chris. He smiled back and I happily said, "WE are good. We are doing great!" Because honestly the last months to me was when Chris showed the most love in the end. If Chris was seriously unhappy in the relationship, I wished he would have told me sooner. I don't like it when people hide behind a mask. The breakup was unbearable for me at the time because I thought he loved me in the end. It was immediately after the breakup where I showed my annoying, crazy and psychotic side. This would be scary to anyone and it definitely scared Chris to the point where he wanted me to leave him alone. I think it is reasonable if Chris is disgusted with me. The behavior I showed after the breakup was unacceptable. When I made those videos about Christopher, I had felt I was betrayed. I placed my trust in him and he did not see it. One day he acted happy with me, the next he said he wanted to break up and would never want to be my boyfriend again. It was puzzling even after he gave his reasons. Many suspected he cheated on me but I refused to believe it for two months. By the end of October I received an email from a stranger which made me question if my annoyance was the only reason Chris broke up with me. I decided I had to end this crazy chicken chase because I was seriously embarrassing myself even more. I really loved my ex so I tried one last time to make amendments. I asked if we could try being together again and if not, I wanted to have one last happy day together before I left him alone. I didn't get my last happy day but I got a message to my surprise. He sent a short email saying that he is with another woman and he is happy with her. It is highly plausible that he met this woman after the breakup but if what I received from the stranger was true, than it is also possible he left me that last day for another girl. I won't be pointing fingers but after two months of refusing to believe all this, I can't help but believe maybe he did leave me for another woman. This was why I posted up those childish video, because I wanted to rant about a betrayal. What I did was inexcusable and terrible which may have ruined my image but at the time I really wanted to let the word out. I am truly sorry for what I did in those two months after the breakup. I really wanted a happy ending but I didn't deserve it. I know that there are lots of stories similar to mine. I am not trying to create drama. I just want to release my thoughts so I can start a new life without holding in these emotions. I've been feeling very fearful lately. I am practically scared of my future. I'm afraid someday my actions during those two months will haunt me. I have written a book, discussing in further detail about my story, his reasons, and other love stories collected from friends and family. I wrote this to heal my mind, not to create chaos. I'm afraid someday Chris will attack me in some way but I know Chris has too much honor to do something as stupid as that. The best I can do is apologize for my actions. I will not take back the words I have said as they all remain true to me. I haven't heard or seen Christopher again. He simply vanished from my life. I think he did this to protect both of us. Chris is a true gentlemen. I know I said he betrayed me but I feel it was mostly my fault. I only wish for his happiness and for him to understand my thoughts. I told her we had to talk and it ended up with me telling her I would have chosen her if she had stayed and not left.
