It was the budget alternative to the 150 and 25 Cleaning Ensembles.Although the appearance of this machine was updated by Henry Dreyfuss, it was largely similar to previous Models 450 and 475. It went through at least 3 minor design updates during its production - Hoover sold 27,477 of these cleaners in total.This was a complete wreck when it arrived. It's had a major cosmetic overhaul since them, although please note it's still a work in progress!
