| Fire Emblem 6, Chapter 16, Part 1Tue, 02 Dec 2008 12:27:27 -0800 by Hisagi134Time to take on Narshen in one of the game's most busy chapters. You'll want to split into two groups. The west/central group should contain your units that have high movement, as they will need to move farther faster. And as for your left, you'll want to include Roy/a thief(For Hugh) and besides that, the rest of the grouping is up to you. Two thieves would be nice, but definitely not necessary. You can take as many turns as you want, as chapter 16x has no turn requirement.Watch out for Purge, it can be deadly to improperly trained thieves. Also, the mage in the east corridor has a bolting, but with a longbow you can take him out easily.The only reinforcements in this chapter come from the staircases in the central-ish room. A mercenary and a fighter each turn for a while, starting around the time you enter the room. There are also Mages that spawn from the northeastern staircase at about the same time.The Hugh problem can be solved in a couple different ways. First, you can recruit him for 10,000-5,000G (the less you pay, the more he sucks) But, if you want to preserve your funds, you can just steal the member card from him and kill him (What I did). It's not like he's that great anyway, his starting stats aren't very good and his growths are just decent. You'll probly end up benching him anyway.As for Douglas, he is a bit more tricky. You have to keep him alive until the end of the chapter to unlock chapter 16x. You can either use a sleep staff, lure him in circles, or strip a high evade unit of their weapons and use them to occupy him. Whatever way you choose, just make sure he stays alive.Now onto Zeiss, he pwns. Recruit him with Miledy. Use the Member's Card to enter the Secret Shop on his starting tile.I like to save the chests for last, so move your main group to take on Narshen while having your thief loot any remaining chests.As for Narshen, he's pretty hard to kill if he hits you. He's pretty hard to double attack too. Hit him with a barrage with magic, he can't connect his hits all the time if you have decent evade. You'll want to get into his range and end your turn. That way, even if he hits you, it won't help him since his HP is full. Then you can finish him off the next turn. It's good to have someone with good accuracy to do this job. An even easier method, steal his Delphi Shield and pelt him with arrows. He shouldn't be able to last long against that.
