| Carl-Gustaf Lindstedt (1921-1992) Svenska KomediaktörerTue, 02 Dec 2008 13:49:04 -0800 by WorldwideOnlineCarl-Gustaf Lindstedt, född 24 februari 1921 på Kungsholmen i Stockholm, död 16 januari 1992 i Stockholm. Svensk skådespelare, komiker och revyförfattare. Även sonen Pierre Lindstedt är skådespelare. Carl-Gustaf växte upp på Kungsholmen i Stockholm, där det numera finns en gata uppkallad efter honom. Han började spela amatörteater hos Unga Örnar och SSU. Han träffade Gunnar "Knas" Lindkvist och Nils Ohlson, och 1942 bildade de trion Tre Knas, en crazygrupp som blev populär genom sångsketchen Det ringer, det ringer, som utgavs på grammofonskiva. Tre Knas roade publiken i folkparkerna, och 1946 engagerades trion av Gösta Bernhard och Stig Bergendorff till Casinorevyn. Carl-Gustaf blev snabbt en av publikfavoriterna på Casino. Här träffade han Arne Källerud, som blev Carl-Gustafs scenpartner i många revyer, filmer och radioprogram. Deras radioserie Räkna med bråk blev en stor succé i slutet av 1950-talet. 1957 startade Carl-Gustaf och Arne en egen teater: Nöjeskatten på Söder i Stockholm. Namnet syftade på den särskilda nöjesskatt som fanns vid denna tid. De drev teatern fram till 1963 med publiksuccéer som bl.a. Fly mig en greve och Svenska Floyd. Flera av Carl-Gustafs monologer och sketcher har blivit humorklassiker som fortfarande spelas i radion och finns återutgivna på CD, t.ex. Bilskolläraren, Pip i luftrören och Är pappa hemma?Carl-Gustaf filmdebuterade 1948 i Lilla Märta kommer tillbaka, sedan följde en rad filmlustspel som bl.a. Hjälpsamma herrn, Suss gott och Janne Vängman och den stora kometen. Senare i karriären fick han tillfälle att visa sin bredd även som karaktärskådespelare . Han gjorde en fin roll i Kjell Gredes Harry Munter 1969 och belönades med en Guldbagge för sin insats. Han medverkade i den samhällskritiska julkalendern Broster, Broster! 1971 och fortsatte samarbetet med Kjell Grede i den sorgliga filmen Klara Lust 1972. Han fick mycket beröm för rollen som kommissarie Martin Beck i Bo Widerbergs film Mannen på taket, som han också vann en guldbagge för 1976 och som Willy Loman i En handelsresandes död i Widerbergs TV-uppsättning 1979. En annan minnesvärd rollprestation av Carl-Gustaf Lindstedt är den svårt sjuke Primus Svensson i TV-serien Babels hus 1981.Men det var som komiker och glädjespridare Carl-Gustaf Lindstedt erövrade svenska folkets hjärtan. Han blev med tiden så populär att han kunde presenteras med enbart förnamnet, uttalat med betoningen på Carl. Han fick TV-publiken att skratta som Gubben i lådan i Hylands hörna, som historieberättare i Pratmakarna och som maken i Teskedsgumman med Birgitta Andersson. Mellan 1973 och 1980 återförenades det gamla Casinogänget på Intiman och spelade revy med stor framgång. Under 1980-talet höll Carl-Gustaf skratten igång på Vasan i Stockholm, där han spelade i långkörare som Spanska flugan (438 föreställningar), Gamle Adam, Leva loppan och Inte nu, älskling. Han satte upp egna revyer: Carl-Gustafs nöjesmaskin och Carl-Gustafs lekstuga. Hans karriär kom att avslutas på Dramaten, där han spelade farfar i pjäsen Broadway nästa 1992 men avled under spelperioden.Carl-Gu staf Lindstedt tilldelades flera utmärkelser. 1974 erhöll han Teaterförbundets guldmedalj, 1980 fick han samma förbunds De Wahl-stipendium, och 1987 fick han Carl Åkermarks stipendium av Svenska Akademien.
