| Cowboy Bebop...on SCIFI.aviTue, 02 Dec 2008 14:23:34 -0800 by cnwannaThe inspiration for this video was quite unexpected. One day in spring 2001, I was watching the SCIFI channel when a 30 second promo came on about their broadcasting the Wide Screen Directors Cut of the future-noir movie Blade Runner. It suddenly hit me how similar the footage used in the promo and the overall theme of the movie was to Cowboy Bebop (during its more serious moments [debatable]). However, after I decided to commit to the project, SCIFI ceased to broadcast Blade Runner. I waited patiently, constantly monitoring that channels promos and schedules. A full year later, I saw on their schedule that they were going to run the movie again, so I devoted every available moment of my time to watching the channel via my capture card, ready to capture the promo at a moments notice (this was before digital recorders). My patience was rewarded during the end credits of the movie Alien, where they aired the promo for the last (and virtually only) time. Blade Runner aired immediately following this promo.This video focus's on the similarities between the movie Blade Runner and Cowboy Bebop. | How to draw a base - Part 1, Face shots + basicsTue, 02 Dec 2008 14:07:07 -0800 by RPCbaseMAKERHere are detailed summaries for several techniques i couldn't expand on in the video!1- COPY, PASTE AND FLIP EYESfirst, select the eye ( or any object you want ) and go to edit, Copy, then edit Paste. keep it selected, then right click the new eye, select flip/rotate, then OK. you can then position the eye ( or object ) where-ever you want.2- GETTING RID OF BASE CIRCLEI advise drawing this in red. then, once you dont need it, fill the whole screen with the red colour ( make sure you havn't drawn anything else in red, as it will also be deleted) Then, fill the red with white, or your Background colour. This should have gotten rid of your circle3- HOW TO CHANGE OUTLINE COLOURok, select the rubber. then put the colour you drew your outline with the left click option ( In my case, it was green ) THEN find the colour you want for your outline ( check out my colour template ) and select it with the RIGHT click. Now, you have to hold down the RIGHT click button, and use the eraser as normal.
