Five days after The Complex's release, Tom Cruise paid a visit to the Amazon headquarters in Seattle, supposedly to host a preview of "Valkyrie," Cruise's newest shit stain. However, several days after Cruise's visit, Amazon stopped selling The Complex, falsely saying that the book makes "false claims" about a Scientologist mentioned in the text. | Kitten set on fireTue, 02 Dec 2008 12:02:44 -0800 by wwlpit's a shocking case of animial cruelty. a kitten was found roaming the streets of springfield after being set on fire. 22news reporter anthony dilorenzo is live at the mspca in springfield where the animal is recovering this morning. police are asking for the public's help to find whoever is responsible for burining this kitten -- and if they are found and convicted the punishment carries a heavy prison sentence. this is nicolas and as you can see, he is badly burned on his face and his body. veterinarians are also treating him for malnourishment. a good samaritan found the 2-month old kitten in the hungry hill section of springfield and immediately rushed him into the mspca on union street late monday afternoon... it's believed that fire was intentionally set to nicolas recently but the great news is that he will survive. now, mspca law enforcement is out to catch whoever hurt this cat. we have seen a couple of situations like this it always is a shock to us we see situations with animals everyday but when something like this happens to an innocent life there are just no words for us. the mspca is offering a 500 dollar reward for anyone that can identify whoever committed this act of animal cruelty.. you can call the center at 413-750-7661. the cat was named nicolas after st. nicolas with the spirit of the holidays in mind. once nicolas is better, he will put be up for adoption. I had only vagley rememered yesterday, seeing as I was never totally coherant in the morning. After a few minutes of lazing around my room and checking my emails on my laptop, I remembered everything from yesterday. The cute parts, where Nick and I took a walk, but then the bad parts. Where he told me he was going on tour. For 3 months. Ugh!I got up and put my laptop on my bed. I decided I sort of had to get ready for school. It was only Tuesday and I had no idea how I was gonna live through the next few months at school. It was dreafully boring in the first place. But wihtout Nick to look forward to seeing after school, I was going to die of boredom. See, school is too easy for me. I get A's on everything. Without even paying attention, don't ask how. I hate it though. I kind of wish I couldn't finish my homework in ten minutes instead of an hour so that I would now have something to do.I thought about everything while I did my hair and makeup and while I got dressed. Then one thing I had thought of only yesterday popped into my mind again. What was I going to get for Nick's Birthday? I mean, come on, today was his 16th birthday! That's kind of special. Speaking of that, I should probably call him. No, I couldn't. I would wait until his party. Oh and yeah, he was having a surprise party. We were inviting everyone, well Joe and Kevin were. They knew everyone. We were having it at a ballroom in Waldorf Astorium in New York. That place was amazing. Perfect for a formal party like we were having. I was really excited.I jumped up while in my closet, realizing what I could dof or Nick for his birthday. In the process hitting my head on a shelf, but that was okay. I had thought of what I was getting for his birthday. I finished getting ready and headed off to school. This was going to be fun. I was walking down the hall to my last period class (almost jumping for joy that I was almost to be released from this prison) and the last person I wanted to talk to, came up to me. Of COURSE. there can't just be one perfect day can there? There always has to be something wrong.Tia tapped me on the shoulder and I turned around to see her gorgeous, show-stopping face. She had pefectly green, round eyes. Her brown hair was cut into a unique style that had probably costed hundreds of dollars. She stood about an inch taller than me. Next, her show-stopping attitude came-out. This time, not the good kind of show-stopping. The kind where people sort of feel like spewing their lunches because of her. Yeah, that pretty much covers what I felt like doing at this point. I rolled my eyes but put on a fake smile.
