Vodafone GAATue, 02 Dec 2008 12:21:37 -0800 by VodafoneIrelandVodafone Ireland and the GAAThe poem narrated is "If" by Rudyard Kipling. The excerpt used for this commercial is:If you can keep your head when all about youAre losing theirs and blaming it on you;If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,But make allowance for their doubting too;If you can dream - and not make dreams your master; If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;If you can meet with triumph and disasterAnd treat those two imposters just the same; If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch; If all men count with you, but none too much;If you can make one heap of all your winningsAnd risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,And lose, and start again at your beginningsAnd never breath a word about your loss;If you can fill the unforgiving minuteWith sixty seconds' worth of distance run -Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my sonVodafone - Make the most of now Related: vodafone gaa rudyard kipling if ireland gealic footbal

The wine and the breadTue, 02 Dec 2008 12:19:55 -0800 by camila181New poem you guys! hope you love it!The Wine and the Bread.Pain fills my sights, pain fills my nightsthe need to extinguish and remove the fire from the cathedrals.Burning statues of saints. No one's coming to save you.let the darkness wash us away.let the downpour of rain wither all my dreams like fire. Broken and holding onto those invisible threadstake away the Wine and the Bread that he holds. Leave me alone, with the burdens of all other wishes, burdens of my heart. it's the same old story, the same old storms. The same old prayers, but the disciples have long gone and disappeared. There are no disciples to fall anymore. We are caged in and wronged.and the sinned have fallen and all the saints have run away. Related: wine and bread poem camila lhuillier new november

O Holy NightTue, 02 Dec 2008 10:23:59 -0800 by jeremyofgod"O Holy Night" ("Cantique de Noël") is a well-known Christmas carol composed by Adolphe Adam in 1847 to the French poem "Minuit, chrétiens" by Placide Cappeau (1808-1877), a wine merchant and poet. Cappeau was asked to write a Christmas poem by a parish priest. It has become a standard modern carol for solo performance with an operatic finish. In the carol, the singer recalls the birth of Jesus. It was translated into English by Unitarian minister John Sullivan Dwight, editor of Dwight's Journal of Music in 1855, and lyrics also exist in other languages. On 24 December 1906, Reginald Fessenden, a Canadian inventor, broadcast the first AM radio program, which included him playing "O Holy Night" on the violin. The carol therefore appears to have been the first piece of music to be broadcast on radio. It later appeared in an edition of carols by Josiah Armes, published by Oxford in 1936, subsequently increasing its popularity. Related: holy night traditional christmas carol
