| Opel P1 - 376 Miles Per GallonSun, 30 Nov 2008 18:44:38 -0800 by xtremefightFrom a Dutch investigative program, the subject is about the car of the future. Here they show the infamous Opel P1 that drove 376 miles per gallon. It looks like a pile of crap but apparently it can't be beaten by 2008 technology. Just think if they continued working on hypermileage technology where we would be today.Opel hypermiling gas improve fuel economy increasing mileage increase browns Related: opel hypermiling gas fuel economy increasing mileage increase browns improve | |

| Importance of Saving: Gas Mileage ProductsThu, 27 Nov 2008 11:47:09 -0800 by tr3mfr6201http://hhogas.bright erplanet.orgGlobal warming and over priced gasoline are some of the most dreadful problems the world is facing right now. Citizens are suffering everyday because of the prices that keep increasing, leaving them wondering if there is a solution or an alternative to spending on gasoline when cars usually consume gasoline at around .50 per gallon. This price is already predicted to rise to a significant level of about per gallon, which indicates the drastic need for other fuel alternatives. By adopting and availing of these alternatives, you will be able to save on gas mileage at a very significant pace. There are certain products that save gas mileage, in which car owners obtain so as to be able to save up thousands of dollars meant for gasoline expenses. Gas mileage products are usually manufactured and designed to use water as an alternative source for gasoline, giving the consumer a chance to save up to 40% on fuel costs, double his or her gas mileage, and at the same time protect and keep the environment clean. These are some of the most significant benefits of converting your car into a water-fueled hybrid car that you can ever obtain. Related: hho gas how to make generator car scam hoax | |

| MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN GET RIPPED OFF BY AAFES AND DOEMon, 24 Nov 2008 10:00:22 -0800 by BLESSEDone333AAFES (Army and Air Force Exchange Service) is charging $4.067 per gallon of gasoline while the national average for this week from the DOE is $2.072. According to AAFES policy the price for overseas gas sales is based on the weekly average set by the DOE but AAFES has not dropped the price of gasoline since July even though the national average has dropped by $2.00. AAFES locations in Japan and Okinawa are the ONLY AAFES locations to buy gasoline directly from the Department of Energy, the DOE also sells gasoline to the Marines, Navy, Air Force, Army, National Guard, and Coast Guard. The DOE is selling gasoline for $4.19 per gallon TODAY. AAFES locations in Germany and South Korea have dropped their prices to reflect the national average as is their policy but AAFES Japan will not follow their own policy.http://www.aa fes.com/pa/gasprices .pdf Related: aafes army air force exchange services nex bxpx navy marine corp dodea government gas prices conspiracy federal | |

| Water as fuel for your carSun, 23 Nov 2008 20:36:14 -0800 by gasneedswaterFor more info visithttp://www.driv ecarwithwaterandsave .com/?campaign=YT10& ad=10Ten years ago when I first started experimenting with the different technologies to achieve superior fuel economy, I just took it for granted that getting 50-80 miles per gallon (80 to 129 kilometers) was normal with the water/HHO system installed. Today, with the advent of people selling the do-it-yourself instructions to use water as a fuel supplement, I want to shed some light on what is and what is not possible.First, it is NOT possible to drive completely with water (these vehicles are still in production and are very expensive). You will still need fuel. BUT, with the water being converted to hydrogen (also called oxyhdrogen, HHO or Brown's gas) and fed into the engine's air intake, your vehicle will get more miles per gallon (or kilometers per liter) of fuel and you save money on gas.Second, it is NOT for everyone. If you do not spend more than $50 a month on gas, it really doesn't make sense.Third, you may only get 50-60% increase in fuel efficiency and depending on your vehicle, engine size, your vehicle's increase in fuel efficiency will vary. Yet, with that said, we have had reports from USA and Canada of 113% to 279.3% increases in MPG. You still would have to buy gas each month, but your bill would likely be half to one third of what it is right now.Fourth, in our tests of the some of the guides recommended by non-mechanics, some actually damaged the engine or destroyed certain critical engine components, which not only was expensive to fix, but VOIDED the vehicle warranty. | Gas tax hikeThu, 20 Nov 2008 12:10:55 -0800 by wwlpA Boston-area lawmaker wants to get rid of all Mass Pike tolls, in exchange for a 6 cents per gallon gas tax hike...and the governor says he's "willing to consider" it. 22news reporter julie tremmel found out how local drivers feel about paying more for gas. just when gas prices have fallen enough for you to really notice the difference..some beacon hill lawmakers are looking to raise the states' gas tax by 6 cents. right now gas averages 2-0-2 per gallon in the pioneer valley. but if natick democrat david linsky's bill passes...all mass pike tolls would be wiped out... and that same gallon would cost you 2.08...the additional 6 cents would go directly to the commonwealth. well, it's definitely not a good time for it, and how long is the big dig gonna go on? although the proceeds of any gas tax wouldn't be specifically earmarked for any particular project, one local state rep's concerned it could end up in the ground in boston. there would have to be some serious assurances there that that money would not come from western mass to pay for the big dig if the increase is eventually approved massachusetts drivres can expect to pay 29.5 cents per gallon for gas tax, which is still below the national average of 30 cents a gallon i don't think so it's right for the moment to raise it. i understand that there are road and bridges that need to be made so i would be ok with that this 6 cent per gallon gas tax hike is just a proposal. gov. deval patrick says discussion on the matter most likely will come gov. deval patrick says discussion on the matter most likely will come too late to prevent hikes in mass pike and boston bridge and tunnel tolls. in west springfield, julie tremmel, 22news.
