Work begins on building the City Centre Campus for Newport's University. When completed in 2010, it will be home to Newport School of Art Media and Design and Newport Business School.

This is a short clip of the grave of William Ellery, signer of the Declaration of Independence. His grave is in the old Newport Common Burying Ground cemetery on Farewell Street in Newport, Rhode Island.
