| High School Horrors S1 E4Tue, 02 Dec 2008 15:38:08 -0800 by danakaychasonEpisode 4I cant believe it! He asked me out, sort of. I hear my mom yell to me from the last step on the stairs ** DANA! Get down here. It is time to go to the doctor. My life is going great until I hear those words come out of her mouth. He is ANOTHER story. My dad died when he was like 30 or something, I am not sure, because I was only 4 but yeah. He died of Leukemia, and I was diagnosed with it when I was 6 and I have had since then. So Every time I hear my mom say that, I think of my dad and its kind of sad. I have researched it a lot and all of the web sites say that there is like vaccinations or a surgery that can fix it, and I tell my mom about it, but all she ever says is that we cant afford it. So for the last like 2 years I have been saving up to help us. I am praying that it WILL help sooner or later. But it still isnt enough so I am still working on that. I wish my dad could see this, but he just had to leave me and my mom. I know he couldnt really help it but I still wish he was here with me, helping me through this. Taylor and my mom are the only people that know about it. Taylor helped me for a while until you know we kind of stopped talking. He was a big help too. That is why I wish he was close to me again, O and my mom, she tries but it not as much as Taylor did. He was such a sweetheart until he got such a bitchy girlfriend, he just turned sour I guess. I pray every night I get better so I can have a normal life. But anyways. TAYLOR ASKED ME OUT! Oh My Gosh! I am like freaking out. I am so stoked! I am so totally having everyone come over on Friday to help me pick out an outfit. After the doctors I am on my daily run and I get to the usual place where I stop and walk for a few minutes when my leg just tenses up. I have shin splints but this, this is 10 times worse. It hurts to pick up my foot. Then all of a sudden I fall. I feel dizzy, more like woozy. I stand up but I just fall again. So I start to crawl down the street. Finally I get to my house. I dont call my mom because I know she is busy so I just ice my leg and I could of guessed it felt better, I am not a good judge of that. I go to take a shower and I get done and go downstairs to get a little TV action. I am sitting in my recliner when I hear a loud banging at my door. All I remembered was my heart started pounding frantically in my chest-. Jason. My eyes were too heavy to open at that moment but I could feel many things. I was in a very comfortable bed and someone had placed a cold cloth on my forehead. Someone was also petting my hand with their cold, smooth fingers. It felt extremely soothing and I accidentally let a sigh slip out of my mouth. Its alright Cori go back to sleep.A sharp pain hit me on my neck, elbow, and wrists as I slid back into another deep sleep.When I awoke the second time I was a little sore and I could hear movement in the room and talking. I cough and the talking and movement ceases. Knowing that I have been caught I hold my breath and pretend Im still asleep so I could listen to what they were talking about.Cori we know your awake so dont even try fake sleeping with us someone saysI remember the voice as Jasons. I sigh and my eyes flutter open. I sit up and smile shyly at Jason. The other person must have left the room when it got quiet, I thought.Oh, your no fun, I say I cant believe you caught me.Something I said must have caught him off guard because he looked at me with a startled expression on his face.Oh, boy, He says this is gunna be fun! Amy! Mark! Get in here she finally woke up! Jason exclaimsJust as the thought of who are Mark and Amy crosses my mind two stunningly gorgeous people walk into the room. I sit there on the bed with my mouth agape as the woman, Amy, crosses the room. I blink, she is so gorgeous, I thought. Amy has a body that is skinny but yet very curvy. She has jet black hair that goes to her shoulders and a traffic stopping gray eyes. The way she walked was as graceful as an antelope. Once Amy is to where I am she stops stares at me and a tear escapes her eye. Just as Im about to ask whats with everyone Im hugged by her. This hug makes me feel safe, but its cold like being in a lake thats frozen over in the middle of winter.As Im being hugged I exam the so- called man Mark. He has auburn coloured hair that goes about to the middle of his ear and dark brown eyes. The woman backs away from me and gracefully walks back to Mark and puts her arms around him. I feel as if Im about to loose it if someone doesnt tell me whats happening.It was as if Jason had read my mind because then he cleared his throat and saidCori we need to tell you something.I scoff and say I sort of figured that out when you yelled for those two to come in I jab my thumb toward Amy and Mark, who by now are looking at me in a surprised manner.Cordelia Lynne Star! he growls Theres no need to be rude is there?Amys voice pipes up Jason, she has all the reason to be upset, she pauses and quietly adds Remember how you were when we told you?Jason had a mixture of horror and anger on his face, but soon calmed down to a gleaming smile. Im very confused at this moment because he said Star and thats not my last my. My last name is Stratts. Um Jason, I say My last name is StarHe breaks into an even bigger smile It is now, just look at your hand and youll see what I mean.Confused as I am, I look at my hand to find a quarter sized, gleaming emerald green star in the middle of my hand. Horrified I asked What is it? Reverend Mueller [Richard Blackburn], who has a hard time keeping his hands off his ward Lila, has made it clear to the parish that the sins of her father should not be blamed on Lila, but when Lila gets a letter from a woman named Lemora, instructing her to come to her sick father and forgive him his sins against her, Lila makes her way that very night to the Northpark bus station just in time to catch the bus (driven by a very creepy bus driver) to Asteroth.*The "bus-driving-through -the-forest-while-th e-undead-attack-it" is inspired by a similar scene in H.P.
