| Underwater Vid of our Canoe Trip Down Juniper Run in FloridaTue, 02 Dec 2008 15:03:33 -0800 by CincinnatiGiftsWe had bought an underwater digital cam recently in 2008, and decided to use it on this recent trip to Florida in June '08. The above-water canoe trip is awesome enough... but to see what's actually under the surface of the water is equally as impressive. Mostly we saw minnows and other small fish, and plenty of eel grass. It would have been spectacular to have seen a submerged gator quietly and motionless awaiting our passage by. But, alas, we saw none while recording, but we did happen to see two small gators while on this pass down Juniper that we didn't manage to record. One was on the bank, just feet from our canoe (I nearly pissed myself when I saw it eyeing my legs dangling over the bow of the canoe in the water!), and another was headed upstream. He saw us coming downstream about the same time we spotted him, and he then quietly submerged himself, and then stayed in the same spot on the bottom of the run as we passed over. He then resurfaced after we had passed by, and contined upstream. We could literally have reached down into the water and felt him. So... who now wants to go canoeing in the wild Florida and go sightseeing for gators? Don't everybody jump at once! ONLY ABOUT 10ISH CHAPTERS :DI stood in the rain and waiting for him to come after me , like he always did.But this time ... he didnt.I should probably start from the beginning , to a much simplier time , a happier one. I was about 6 years old when they first moved here,It seems like such a long time now , but anyway i was sitting on the lawn all by myself , because my mom refused to let me have snacks before dinner and i was now in mood on the grass. When along came this maroon minivan and parked next door. Out of the van came three young boys followed by a older woman and man which i assumed were their parents.There was one older boy i didnt really catch his face , one i presumed was the middle child , and that last onethat caught my eye the most . His light curls fell across his face as he hopped out of the van and all of a sudden he turned and looked at me. I was just sitting there , on the grass like a fool whilst he started to walk towards me."Hi" he said"Hi" i replied"Nice Bow" he said sheepishly"Huh?""I Like Your Bow" I Looked at the frilly pink dress my mom had dressed me in , there across my waist was a HUGE pink bow. Gawd I hated that dress."Thanks i like your hair" He didnt say anything , he just smiled at me thoughtfully. "Alice!" "Come in now!" Kevins was as curly as nicks though. Being 15 years old made him the oldest , and he certainaly acted like it , then again he had to with a brother like Joe , he may be 13 but had to mental age of a 3 year old.He was such a joker , hence why he was running around with a water gun . But we still loved him all the same.Moving on ... 11 years old , and my mom had invited the jonas's over along with her new "boyfriend" or should i say "toyboy" he was 29 , and my mom was 42. YURKGH. I refused to eatin the same room as him , after he called my dad a "crazy buffoon". I wont have anyone talk about my dad this way. I threw the boilinghot soup at him and stormed out the room , leaving sniggers of Joe and Kevin behind me.I ran into the front yard when i could here footsteps behind me."
