| TRUTH TV P-TOWN OREGON! CHENEY/GONZALES INDICTMENT! 503-995-0567!Fri, 21 Nov 2008 18:25:45 -0800 by DBICKFORDALANZHearing on Cheney indictment turns chaoticThe Associated PressPublished: November 21, 2008 E-Mail Article Listen to Article Printer-Friendly 3-Column Format Translate Share Article Text SizeRAYMONDVILLE, Texas: A county prosecutor who brought indictments against Vice President Dick Cheney, former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and others asked on Friday for the judge to remove himself from the case.Willacy County District Attorney Juan Angel Guerra pounded his fist and shouted at the judge, alleging he was giving special treatment to high-profile defendants. It sent the routine hearing into chaos.Guerra, who is accusing the public officials of culpability in the alleged abuse of prisoners in a federal detention center, asked Presiding Judge Manuel Banales to recuse himself. Guerra has complained about Banales' handling of the case.Attorneys for the vice president and other defendants leapt to their feet in objection as Guerra pounded the table and accused Banales of giving the defendants special treatment in allowing motions to quash the indictments to be heard before the defendants were arraigned.Banales called a recess to contact the chief justice of the state Supreme Court for suggestions on how to proceed. He also ordered Guerra, who had slipped out once before in the hearing, to remain in the courthouse.Today in AmericasClinton set to become secretary of stateMedvedev faces hard sell in Latin AmericaNebraska revises child safe haven lawBanales adjourned court later in the afternoon after announcing that he would send all documents pertaining to the motion to the chief justice. He tentatively scheduled the parties to return to court Wednesday morning. Some officials have questioned Guerra's motives. They've accused him of trying to end his tenure with a bang and even scores with political enemies. The vice president is the highest public official Guerra has pursued, but he made a nearly 20-year career of passing over routine crimes in favor of public corruption before being defeated in the March Democratic primary election. It was Guerra's interest in the contracts to build and run a federal detention center that led to some of his biggest successes ? three guilty pleas on bribery charges from former county commissioners in 2005. But he also believes it was the motivation for his own legal battles.Guerra continued working for more than a year while under indictment on charges of extorting money from a bail bond company and using his office for personal business. Banales dismissed the indictment in October. At Friday's hearing, Guerra shouted: "Now all of a sudden there is urgency. Eighteen months you kept me indicted, through the election."Half of the indictments returned Monday are linked to privately run federal detention centers in the sparsely populated southern Texas county. The other half target judges and special prosecutors who played a role in an earlier investigation of Guerra. The GEO Group Corp. was indicted on a murder charge for the death of an inmate at a federal prison."The indictment is the product of prosecutorial vindictiveness and is void on its face," defense attorney Tony Canales, who represents the private prison operator, wrote in a motion. Canales is also the legal representative for Cheney and Gonzales. The defendants did need to appear in person Friday. | TRUTH TV PORTLAND OREGON! TRUTHIRAQWAR! DOUGLASS BICKFORD 503-995-0567Fri, 21 Nov 2008 13:46:18 -0800 by DBICKFORDALANZPrinter Friendly Version E-Mail This Article Published on Sunday, September 21, 2003 by the Baltimore SunTruth About Iraq War Comes in Sliversby G. Jefferson Price III LAST WEEK, a sliver of truth seeped out of the circle of mendacity that surrounds the Bush administration's war in Iraq."We've had no evidence that Saddam Hussein was involved with September the 11th," said President Bush.Since the war began, most Americans have believed Saddam Hussein had a hand in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Bush and his hawks deliberately have not discouraged that linkage. And they may be pleased that many Americans probably didn't notice the president's acknowledgement, finally, that no evidence exists of that linkage. It was buried in the middle of a general story in The Sun. Even The New York Times gave it little attention inside the newspaper, though its editorial page seized on the significance in an editorial headlined: "The Terrorism Link That Wasn't."The president had timing on his side, of course. He made the statement while much of the East Coast was preoccupied with Hurricane Isabel and the West Coast was focused on the looney California recall election.Bush was correcting a false impression created by his vice president, Richard Cheney (I cannot bring myself to call him Dick). Cheney had strongly hinted on last Sunday's NBC program, Meet The Press, that some evidence might exist connecting Saddam Hussein to 9/11.But even the president would not go so far as to disassociate himself from the linkage between al-Qaida and the Saddam Hussein regime. "There's no question that Saddam Hussein had al-Qaida ties."Truth is, Osama bin Laden hated Saddam Hussein. So you get a sliver of truth, but never too much. There's a war going on in Iraq and Americans have to believe in it because their sons and daughters are being killed there. And Americans have just been asked to cough up $87 billion to keep operations going, mostly in Iraq, some in Afghanistan where the real war against al-Qaida is supposed to be happening.Still, the president is getting a lot of credit these days for being so forthcoming. First for letting Americans know that the next year of the war will cost them $87 billion; now for acknowledging that no evidence exists to connect Hussein to the terrorist attacks. The Bush administration gave Americans two main reasons for going to war in Iraq. One was Hussein's possession of weapons of mass destruction, even nuclear weapons, that posed an imminent threat to the security of the United States. The other was his support of terrorism and the strongly implied link between his support of terrorism and al-Qaida's attacks against the United States on Sept. 11. | TRUTH TV PORTLAND OREGON! US GOVERNMENT ON THEIR MASS MURDER MISSION! 503-995-0567Fri, 21 Nov 2008 11:03:12 -0800 by DBICKFORDALANZThe chemtrail conspiracy theory began to circulate in 1996 when the United States Air Force (USAF) was accused of releasing unknown substances from aircraft which were creating unusual contrails.[4] The Air Force characterizes the accusations as a hoax fueled in part by authors citing an Air University strategy paper entitled Weather as a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025[5] to allege the Air Force was currently conducting a secret government program to modify the weather. The paper was presented in response to a military directive to anticipate future developments and strategies for maintaining the United States' military dominance in the year 2025 and identified as "fictional representations of future situations/scenarios ".[5] The Air Force denies it is actually conducting such experiments or that such experiments are planned, and points to the refutations presented by accredited universities, scientific organizations and major news organizations as further evidence the chemtrails do not exist.[4]Various versions of chemtrail conspiracy theory have circulated through internet websites and talk radio programs.[1] In some of the accounts, the chemicals are described as barium and aluminum salts, polymer fibers, thorium, or silicon carbide.[2] In other accounts its alleged the skies are being seeded with electrical conductive materials as part of a massive electromagnetic superweapons program based around the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP).[6] The reasons given by those who believe in the conspiracy vary widely as well between military weapons testing, chemical population control, or measures to mitigate global warming. Federal agencies and scientists have consistently denied these claims, insisting the sky tracks are simple contrails.[2] As the chemtrail conspiracy theory spread, federal officials were flooded with angry calls and letters.[2] A multi-agency response to dispel the rumors was published in a 2000 fact sheet by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), a step many chemtrail believers interpeted as further evidence of the existence of a government cover-up.[2]In 2001, United States Congressman Dennis Kucinich introduced legislation that would have permanently prohibited the basing of weapons in space, and chemtrails were listed as one of a number of exotic weapons that would be banned.[7] The bill received an unfavorable evaluation from the United States Department of Defense and died in committee.[8] No mention of chemtrails appeared in the text of any of the three subsequent failed attempts by Kucinich to enact a Space Preservation Act. | CELL PHONES EMF POLLUTION CANCER PARKINSONS ALZHEIMERS !!!Fri, 21 Nov 2008 10:01:55 -0800 by miguelgotSt. Joseph PT. 1SPOUSE OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY AND FOSTER FATHER OF JESUSFeast: March 19The glorious St. Joseph was lineally descended from the greatest kings of the tribe of Judah, and from the most illustrious of the ancient patriarchs; but his true glory consisted in his humility and virtue. The history of his life hath not been written by men; but his principal actions are recorded by the Holy Ghost himself God entrusted him with the education of his divine Son, manifested in the flesh. In this view he was espoused to the Virgin Mary. It is an evident mistake of some writers, that by a former wife he was the father of St. James the Less, and of the rest who are styled in the gospels the brothers of our Lord; for these were only cousin-germans to Christ, the sons of Mary, sister to the Blessed Virgin, wife of Alphaeus, who was living at the time of our Redeemer's crucifixion. St. Jerome assures us1 that St. Joseph always preserved his virgin chastity; and it is of faith that nothing contrary thereto ever took place with regard to his chaste spouse, the Blessed Virgin Mary. He was given her by heaven to be the protector of her chastity, to secure her from calumnies in the birth of the Son of God, and to assist her in his education, and in her journeys, fatigues, and persecutions. How great was the purity and sanctity of him who was chosen the guardian of the most spotless Virgin! This holy man seems, for a considerable time, to have been unacquainted that the great mystery of the Incarnation had been wrought in her by the Holy Ghost. Conscious, therefore, of his own chaste behaviour towards her, it could, not but raise a great concern in his breast to find that, notwithstanding the sanctity of her deportment, yet he might be well assured that she was with child. But being a just man, as the scripture calls him, and consequently possessed of all virtues, especially of charity and mildness towards his neighbour, he was determined to leave her privately, without either condemning or accusing her, committing the whole cause to God. These, his perfect dispositions, were so acceptable to God, the lover of justice, charity, and peace, that before he put his design into execution he sent an angel from heaven, not to reprehend anything in his holy conduct, but to dissipate all his doubts and fears, by revealing to him this adorable mystery. How happy should we be if we were as tender in all that regards the reputation of our neighbor; as free from entertaining any injurious thought or suspicion, whatever certainty our conjectures or our senses may seem to rely on; and as guarded in our tongue! We commit these faults only because in our hearts we are devoid of that true charity and simplicity, whereof St. Joseph sets us so eminent an example on this occasion. In the next place we may admire in secret contemplation with what devotion, respect, and tenderness he beheld and adored the first of all men, the new-born Saviour of the world, and with what fidelity he acquitted himself of his double charge, the education of Jesus and the guardianship of his blessed mother. "He was truly the faithful and prudent servant," says St. Bernard,2 "whom our Lord appointed the master of his household, the comfort and support of his mother, his foster-father, and most faithful co-operator in the execution of his deepest counsels on earth." "What a happiness," says the same Father, "not only to see Jesus Christ, but also to hear him: to carry him in his arms, to lead him from place to place, to embrace and caress him, to feed him, and to be privy to all the great secrets which were concealed from the princes of this world!""O astonishing elevation! O unparalleled dignity!" cries out the pious Gerson,3 in a devout address to St. Joseph, "that the mother of God, queen of heaven, should call you her lord; that God himself, made man, should call you father, and obey your commands. O glorious Triad on earth, Jesus, Mary, Joseph, how dear a family to the glorious Trinity in heaven, Father, Son,, and Holy Ghost! Nothing is on earth so great, so good, so excellent." Amidst these extraordinary graces, what more wonderful than his humility! He conceals his privileges, lives as the most obscure of men, publishes nothing of God's great mysteries, makes no further inquiries into them, leaving it to God to manifest them at his own time, seeks to fulfil the order of providence in his regard without interfering with anything but what concerns himself. Though descended from the royal family which had long been in the possession of the throne of Judea, he is content with his condition, that of a mechanic or handicraftsman, and makes it his business, by labouring in it, to maintain himself, his spouse, and the divine Child.
