| Tuomas Holopainen/Haastattelu 2006/Osa 2Mon, 09 Jun 2008 09:47:53 -0700 by Tervahattu(about the new singer)T.H:She`s gonna go thro kinda hell..when we`ll make public her name.I can just imagine.Charisma is a thing...It`s difficult to fill Tarja`s boots.When entering the stage she must fill the stage.Q:Has any of the canditates been an audition yet?T.H:It`s too early to talk about it.We want to finish the process in peace and introduce her when the time is right.Q:That meaning some have?T.H:I didn`t say that.Q:be honest...Have you had regrets of firing Tarja Turunen?T.H:No.Never .Q:Why?T.H:It was such a big decision and we did think about it such a long time and from many angles.You don`t make a decision like that on short notice,not even a weeks or months.It was extremely sad case,but that`s life.On the behalf of the whole band I can say that we`ve never had any regrets.Q:What kind of relation you have at the moment?T.H:It`s been quiet.Q: Have you phoned?T.H: No.Haven`t talked since.Q:In the book the impression that is given of Marcelo Cabuli is quite monstrous.It says he`s dishonest,almost criminal.Was that a conscious decision?T.H:You should ask the author.The thing I wanna emphazise is that even I read the book as an outsider.About 20 persons were interviewed for the book,I being one of them.Everything in the book is the authors view on the basis of his interviews.When I read it I was like "wow" occasionally and I didn`t get the feeling that anybody was demonized in it.All involved get their part both in good and bad.Q:Are those contracts,made by Tarja and Marcelo,as senseless as is said in the book?T.H:What`s in the book is true and have foundation.Q:Has Tarja Turunen accepted the book?T.H:Again,you should ask the author about that. At least she hasn`t asked us anything,like "may I read it?" I reckon she wanted to read the parts concerning her,but I`m not sure about that.Q:After reading the book,do you believe your relations get worse because of it?T.H:I don`t think our relation got any better after last October.We haven`t been in any contact at all.Papers write what they like.If they write we`ve reached amity,it`s overstatement in this case.Q:Are there any legal actions from either of parts at sight?T.H: No,not at moment.Q:Is that possible?T.H:Everyth ing is possible in this world.I`ve noticed that several times.Lets hope there will not be any and each of us would go forward with our lives.I really hope that from the bottom of my heart...looking forward,not back and one could finally smile,genuinely.Q:Yo u are busy at the moment.Tell me what you`re doing now and the summer to come?T.H:The last 6 months I`ve been making new songs like 24/7. All song for the next album are made,demos done and at the beginning of June we start practicing with the band,doing demos and in September the studio is calling.Q: Is it possible you don`t find a new singer and,for example,Marco would be your vocalist?T.H: This is quite puzzling thing...I was in germany two weeks ago,doing over hundred interviews and in almost everyone of the i was asked that same question.
