It's one of my most favorites ever as I verse against one of the greatest minds in Pokemon battling: arkeisvid, AKA Aragornbird. I still think back to the times when I was very new to Pokemon and he helped me... I've come a long way since deciding to evolve that shiny Eevee into a Calm Mind Espeon. It has still yet to make it's formal debut, but judging by my other Pokemon, it would be potent.I might've been able to do some things different in this battle, but really, it doesn't matter to me. "Yeah sure. What movie were you thinking?" I questioned, hoping she'd pick something I could get into. But then again I didn't really care, as long as I could be with her. "I'm in the mood for something scary." she said with a wink. Boy was I excited. I might actually get to put my arm around her, or at least hold her hand. "That sounds like a good ides to me. Uhm...do you have any movies in mind?" I asked, not a clue on what a good scary movie would be. "Hmm...how about Quarantine? I hear that's supposed to be really scary." she said, getting pretty excited herself. "Haha. Ok. Well...I have no problem with that. Do you thinkk it'll be on demand or should we just go rent it?" I asked, noticing the Family Video a few blocks ahead. "Lets rent it just to be on the safe side." she said, pulling out her buzzing cell phone from her pocket. I pulled into and empty space in the parking lot of Family Video and got out of the car, running to the other side to open McKenna's door for her. SHe was still on her cell phone. She must've been talking to Kylie. She always got all smiley when she did. "Hey Joe?" I heard her ask as we were walking inside. "Yeah?" I asked, turning to face her. "Would it be alright if Nick and Kylie came over as well? Orrr...do you want it to be just the two of us?" she asked, the smile still growing on her face. "They can come . I don't mine." I said, smiling right back at her. I was being completely honest too. I know Kylie made McKenna happy, and that's just what I wanted.[McKenna's Pov]Joe and I are sitting on the couch in the living room. Kylie and Nick are on the loveseat being all coupley. I feel kind of awkward. I want to be able to do that with Joe, but I have no clue how to tell him or go about doing that. It was only about a half hour into the movie so it wasn't scary yet, but I desperately wanted it to get scarym and fast. Joe kept yawning which I thought meant he would do "the move" but he didn't. Once the movie did start finally getting scary, it wasn't very scary at all. But I jumped at a few parts and screamed a little too. One of the times I jumped, my hand landed on Joe's arm. It took me a minute to realize what was going on but before I could move my hand, Joe had grabbed it and our fingers were now linked together. I was trying to hide my smile but it was hard. Joe obviously saw. He moved a little closer to me and kissed me lightly on the cheek. That threw me over the edge. I laid my head on his should and took in his fresh scent. Boy did I love the smell of whatever cologne he was wearing. I felt his arm go around me, resint on my arm. His hand was cold, but it felt so right for it to be there. He pulled me in closer everytime I would get scared. He would ocassionally whisper things in my ear to calm me down. Honestly...it didn't calm me down. His deep, seductive voice turned me on. It turned me way on. Hehe. While we were trying to watch the movie, I could hear the faint sond of kissing coming from Nick and Kylie's direction. It was even more awkward than them just cuddling. I desperately wanted to get out of there. It made me feel really weird."Do you think we could go in a different room?" I whispered in Joe's ear, looking at the worry in his eyes. I think he thought I meant to do stuff, but I didn't, at all. I smiled and pulled him up off of the couch. He followed me up to my bedroom. It was dark. I couldn't find the light switch. Nevermind, Joe's got it. "McKenna...I think we need to talk about some stuff." Joe said, standing with his arms crossed against the now closed door. I laughed. "Joe. I didn't come up here to try anything on you. I just felt awkward down there with the two lovebirds kissing. Sorry." I explained, sitting on my bed, grabbing a pillow to hold. "Oh. Boy do I feel stupid." Joe admitted, walking over and sitting next to me on the bed. "Nah. I was kinda trying to make you think I wanted to do stuff, just to see what you would do." I confessed, lightly hitting him with my pillow. "So I've been thinking...I had a lot of fun tonight. Do You thin-" Joe started saying but my phone started ringing and interrupted him. "I'm sorry. Hold that thought." I said as I put a finger up and answered my phone. It turned out to be my aunt. She told me she was stuck in Denver (she travels for her job) and she didn't know when she'd be home. She gave me permissiong to have people over for the night and that was that. "Ok. Continue." I said to Joe with a smile. "What I was trying to say was...uhh...do you tihnk, maybe we could do this again sometime? Really soon." he asked, his leg bouncing up and down. Do they know our.... ties?" the middle one said, snarling at the word children and smiling evilly at the word ties. I internally flinched, but otherwise carefully remained emotionless. Daniela & Jenny surveyed my face and Jennys stare continued to slide over my face numerous times while Daniela turned to glare at the new vamps. "I wasnt aware you & your coven, Carlei, were coming to our town." She said before adding a warning, "territory.... remember; our turf.""Oh, dont worry about such silly things... Me, Jazz, and Sabrina are just here to... negotiate," she shrugged lightly and was suddenly by my side. This time my flinch was external. She laughed a cold, hard laugh. I grimaced."Carlei, is it?" I said quietly, my voice staying perfectly emotionless and calm. She smiled that evil, creepy smile and took a step closer to me. I returned the smile with a cold, hard, fake one of my own. Her red eyes flashed & she growled."You dare to disrespect ME?!" she snarled impatiently. I merely grinned at her. "I see no reason for you to have earned my respect...." I said in a smug voice. She lunged at me but was thrown back by a strong wind that was now whirling around me. She glared at me in disbelief. "I know not if he is the One... but he is truly special, only days old and yet more wise and controlled than any newborn I have come across. He has not even once took any initiative that would make me believe he wants that girls blood, though I know he can smell it. His brothers are not so strong," she said in a calm voice, glancing behind me at the end. I slowly turned around and saw Joe and Kevin being held back by Mel and Eva as they struggled wildly to get loose. I followed their mad, half-insane impenetrating eyes and saw that their gaze was focused on one thing. The girl. I suddenly felt mad, enraged. My own brothers? I hurt at the thought of this girl being hurt?and by my own flesh and blood! But why? Why.... why.... why? Damn all these questions! Why did all this crap get put on the shoulders of a 15 year old boy?! Before another thought could process in my mind, I saw Carlei, Jazz, and Sabrina jump into the air and come down right in front of Daniela, Jenny, and Me.
