| Grupo Cultural Ojo Viejo -Obra- El TricicloThu, 20 Nov 2008 20:09:41 -0800 by OJOVIEJOEl triciclo fue compuesta entre 1952 y 1953, y es una de las primeras obras de Fernando Arrabal, la primera de las publicadas en castellano y su primera obra estrenada (por el grupo Dido-dirigido por Josefina Sánchez Pedreño- en el Teatro Bellas Artes de Madrid, en 1958).Se compone de un lenguaje infantil en personajes desarraigados, que se debaten en el mundo hostil de un sistema ininteligible y alienante. Cuenta la historia de un asesinato cometido por unos individuos marginales (Climando y Apal) a un ciudadano para robarle, y el proceso de su detención. Se supone que el castigo previsto -la muerte- será ejecutado y, por ello, los asesinos reparten sus ridículos bienes entre sus compañeros también marginales. Al tiempo que todas las preocupaciones de Climando parecen reducirse a pagar el alquiler del triciclo, que le sirve como instrumento de trabajo, Mita -el personaje femenino- propone su deseo de escapar al sistema suicidándose, hasta que aparece El hombre de los billetes. A partir de allí se le revela el mundo del dinero y la posibilidad de sobrevivir y disfrutar los bienes que este mundo pondrá a su alcance, tomando -poco a poco- una posición de supervivencia y pacto con la realidad. I'm actually quite proud of how it turned out.
