| Ruger 10/22 Tactical BuildWed, 07 Jan 2009 11:44:04 -0800 by GlockffsI wanted to put up a new Ruger 10 video, and I just finished working on this rifle and sighting it in, even took some people to the range and we put maybe 800 rounds through it since I finished work. The stock is a Butler Creek Folding variety, and I had to customize it to fit the 0.920 ER Shaw stainless steel barrel. I painted the barrel and bolt to match the Phantom muzzle/compensator/f lash suppressor, by airbrushing "Ultra Flat Tactical Black" DuraCoat epoxy paint. The scope is a cheap 10-40x60mm off EBay, only seemed to like this rifle, the others have too much recoil and bump zero on me, the others are an M-14 and a Savage 111F in .30-06. I modified the trigger group with a bolt-buffer and a VQ target hammer, reducing the trigger pull from 8lbs to around 2 or 2.5 lbs. Also I mentioned the scope mount, its a "see-through" type and I use it like a red-dot but an imaginary dot. My name is Matt and I recently decided to give my first guitar, a Yamaha EG112, a little makeover and I thought i'd share some of the pics with everyone. My parents bought me this guitar when I was 12 from a little guitar shop in Germany (stationed there: ARMY) Below is what I did: -New Paint Job: My Fiance's Dad did the Skull Airbrushing -New Pickups: Select EMGs -Refinished the pickguard: Was white, refinished to Black -New Vintage Style Tremolo -New chrome Volume/Tone knobs -New Electronics I also added a pic of my other guitars as well as a pic of the next guitar I will be working on shortly (LP style).
