| LORAM Rail Grinder: The Train From Hell. 1/7/09, Lemont, IL.Wed, 07 Jan 2009 23:48:11 -0800 by BoxcarFrankHere's another train caught by accident on the CN Joliet Subdivision. While driving back from a friend's house in Downers Grove, I saw black smoke coming from the tracks while crossing the Lemont Road Bridge. I turned onto New Avenue to see what was up and came across this Loram Rail Grinder, a train dedicated to keeping the rails in good shape. I recall seeing this exact train sitting in CN's Markham Yard out in Homewood on the CN Chicago Subdivision. The train consists of a huge unit with specially shaped wheels and grinding stones, two tank cars loaded with water, two crew coaches, and a caboose equipped with a water cannon to extinguish stray sparks. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see it in action despite the 40 minutes I hung around. I had to do these drive by shots since there was no place to set up the camera and because I didn't want to leave my vehicle unattended to long on the side of the road where several dump trucks were speeding by. I hope you enjoy the stuff I got here. I wish I could have gotten some some better quality footage.(c) 9th Street Productions. | The Reality of Living in Israel Under Hamas Rocket AttacWed, 07 Jan 2009 23:08:03 -0800 by RevolutionOfCGMash here in 3 places:http://www.yo utube.com/watch?v=Au 0A7WKhohttp://www.yo utube.com/watch?v=kr oyMfkoRHAhttp://www. youtube.com/watch?v= WFO4WXC2EEE"...Initi ally, it was my objective to highlight what I feel is the under-reported side of this story. That Israel is justified in it's response to these Kassam Rocket attacks by Hamas and that Hamas, as the ruling body for the Palestinians has done a great disservice to it's people and their children by placing them in great danger in an effort to exploit their deaths for propaganda purposes. My intention has been to highlight the restraint that Israel has demonstrated under this steady barrage of attacks within the last several months that had been recently escalated.I want everyone to check out the videos that I am linking to in the description box. These are first person accounts of the devastation of Hamas attacks with Kassam bombs. The first one is an accounting of a 35 year-old school teacher that resides in Sderot, Israel close to the Gaza border. She explains in graphic detail how these attacks have forced everyone to live in fear. She explains how an attack in the morning affects innocent Israeli children. How they are too afraid to go to school, how she has to deal with those children who are agitated, anxious and even fainting from the stress that they are forced to endure. She speaks of specific attacks in which Kassam barrages landed close to her own children and how they writhed in uncontrollable hysteria from fear. There is footage of children running, with their ears covered and how her own child believes that a Kassam hit him that day. How she can't sleep at night because of the incident involving her 4 year old. How, as a parent she must live with the fact that although it is her job to make them feel safe and secure that she is helpless to provide this basic emotional requirement. She explains how the thought of Kassam strikes is always on their minds, about what they will do when the siren of incoming is sounded. How her son wakes up at night believing that the siren was blaring when in fact, it wasn't. How her son believes that any family member that is not physically close to him is destined to die......What is this war with Hamas really about?Either Israel has territorial integrity or it doesn't. Either Israel's borders mean something or they dont. Either Israel is as a sovereign country, an equal among all other sovereign countries, or it's not. That is what's at stake. If Israel prematurely ends this war in a way that allows Hamas to continue lobbing bombs across Israel's borders at Israeli civilians with abandon, then Israel's borders mean absolutely nothing and Israel will be permanently diminished as something less than a sovereign country and more like some kind of parcel, protectorate or colony to be divided up according to the whims of outsiders, many of whom hate her. The actions of Hamas and the many Palestinians that support and voted it into government are not terrorist acts but acts of war. If Israel wants to secure its recognition as a country, it better fight this as a war until the war is won." | Rockets from Lebanon hit Israel / ?????? ??????? ?? ?????: ??????? ??? ?????? ????? ????? ?????? ??? ???? ????? ????????Wed, 07 Jan 2009 23:05:02 -0800 by RTVChilena?????? ??????? ?? ?????: ??????? ??? ?????? ????? ????? ?????? ??? ???? ????? ????????Several rockets have been fired into northern Israel from neighbouring Lebanon, Israeli police say.Micky Rosenfeld, an Israeli police spokesman, said the rockets fell around the town of Nahariya, about 8km south of the Lebanese border, early on Thursday. The attacks came after Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Lebanon's Hezbollah, warned that "all possibilities" are open against Israel as he gave a speech condemning Israel's offensive in Gaza and voicing support for Hamas. The Shia Muslim Hezbollah movement fought a month-long war with Israel in 2006 in which about 1,200 mostly Lebanese civilians were killed.Al Jazeera's Rula Amin, reporting from Beirut, said there had been no immediate claim of responsibility, but Lebanese security forces were confirming that "one or two rockets" had been fired across the border.Lebanon is also home to thousands of Palestinian refugees.Jacky Rowland, reporting from southern Israel, said the firing of rockets from Lebanon "could mean the opening of a second front" in the war on Gaza.Nasrallah speechAddressing tens of thousands of supporters via video link at his stronghold in Beirut's suburbs, Nasrallah said on Wednesday: "I say to [Ehud] Olmert [Israel's prime minister], the loser, the vanquished in Lebanon that 'you cannot overcome Hamas or Hezbollah'."The comments marked the first time he has spoken so openly on the possibility of a renewed conflict with Israel since the war in Gaza began on December 27.Nasrallah warned that the 2006 conflict would be "but a walk in the park" compared to what awaits Israel if it launches a new offensive on Lebanon."We have to act as though all possibilities are real and open [against Israel] and we must always be ready for any eventuality." "We are ready to sacrifice our souls, our brothers and sisters, our children, our loved ones for what we believe in."The Hezbollah leader also reiterated past criticism of Egypt for failing to open its border with Gaza and condemned the United Nation Security Council for not acting to denounce the Israeli offensive that has left more than 700 Palestinians dead."Does the government in Egypt need more than 650 victims and 2,500 wounded to open the Rafah crossing once and for all to help the people of Gaza toward victory?" Nasrallah said."I am simply asking for the opening of a crossing and not another front." Its about naglfar a ship made up of nails of the dead which sailed up against the gods during ragnarok (the final battle). In this final battle between the gods and the giants the world was scorched by flames and the whole universe the world tree was uprooted and wiped out. Later a new world is born with some gods still remaining and new ones put in place. Some of our own mythology was incorporated into the lyrics along with borrowed aspects from other myths and some hate for christianity".The dark vessel floats through the river of soulsdelivering death to the godsthe dark vessel hauls a load full of drones allpissed and destressed at aboveits built out of flesh of the fallen onesforged in the fires of hadeswith no stone unturned well stop all their heartsfrom beating your cold death awaitsthis ship of the damned will lend death a handand awaken the fallen with screamswill give them a purpose to rise and to surface and whipe offall of their tearswhat happened before was left at the shorewe set sail at dusk we grow strongerno matter the weather we all stick togeatherfor we are the darkness forever were oneriding on the wind we followthe heavens shall be left so hollowripped apart and torn asunderfeel the power mighty thunderthe red tide moves in, the red waves of doomdrowning in blood, a bloodborne monsoontheir weak cries for help, under the crimson moonare all left unanswered!with fear in their eyes they look down at us as weplunge through their shimmering gateson wings of a demon we fly after that the skyit shall bleed raining limbsdeath is your agent death is thy saviorhe walks through your door and does you a favorthere will be no struggle release will be silentforget of the past your future is violentnaglfar the ship of the deadgravesent relentless and bravenaglfar youve traveled so farslay them and make them all payonward we sail through the seato pillage a village or threeacross the dark waters of urdathwe come ashore to kill some moreto rape some moreto drink some moretheir christian hordes shall suffer moresothisisthe endbrace the end!Naglfar the ship of the deadgravesent relentless and bravenaglfar weve traveled so farweve slayed them and made them allpay Related: anticosm black thrash metal toxic holocaust necrodeath bulldozer bathory nocturnal mercyful fate venom mayhem darkthrone anthrax megadeth emperor | |

| Bluer Skies Catch Up 2Wed, 07 Jan 2009 22:44:07 -0800 by NewL30This is the catch up for those of you who couldn't read Bluer Skies Wait for Me. read the first one first and if you don't wanna know what happens STOP READING the new season will be starting soon howeverThe next morning, the boys are told that Jordan will live there sort of as a foster child and Nick lets it slip that she has a chronic pain condition called Fibromyalgia (he is the only one that knows). Jordan gets upset and scared that the Jonases wont want to take her anymore, but Denise assures her that nothing will make them not want her. They go get ready for church and then Nick takes Jordan to the yard to talk. He tells her that if she was just upset the night before and didnt mean what happened he understood, but she kisses him and tells him that its the one thing she didnt wish hadnt happened. They become girlfriend and boyfriend. Jordan returns to school and tells no one what happened. When she gets upset when Kevin comes to pick her up she explains to him that her best friend Lydia is obsessed with them and has a crush on Nick so she doesnt want anyone to find out. However, soon a magazine prints some pictures of her with the boys and Lydia approaches her in the hall about it. Jordan spills the story out and Lydia asks what the deal is with her and Nick. She admits hes dating him and Lydia explodes telling her to have a good life with the Jonases and leaves. Jordan cant deal with the other people at school asking questions, making jokes, or kissing up so she calls home to ask if she can leave school. The next day they decide that she will be homeschooled with the boys.In New York, we see Ella and her roommate Laura. Ella doesnt like Laura much but feels bad for her so she hangs out with her. Laura also comes across the article and realizes that its her cousin with JB. She tells Ella theyre going to New Jersey for spring break because 'the brat is finally doing something to help her' When Ella and Laura show up at the Jonas house, Jordan runs out of the room terrified without a word. When Nick goes to ask whats wrong, she tells him that Laura didnt like her and blamed her for her mother and brothers deaths. Nick goes to yell at Laura, but Laura tells him that Jordans lying to him and that she was in the car and if she wasnt selfish her brother might be alive. Nick doesnt really know whats going on, but he sends Laura back downstairs, but not before she tells him that shes not really Jordans cousin. When Nick goes back to Jordan, she tells him everything. That Laura is actually her half sister. Her dad was having an affair with Lauras mom and her dad bought her silence. They told her that she was her cousin, but Laura told her the truth at the funeral. What had happened in the accident was that her mother died on impact, but she and her brother (James) were still alive. James told Jordan that he had to get her head to stop bleeding, but Jordan sees that hes bleeding pretty badly too but lets him take care of her instead of himself. She admits that she thinks she killed her brother and thats why she didnt tell Nick. Nick tries to convince her that it wasnt true, but shes still upset. Downstairs, Kevin is talking to Ella and is really into her. When Laura comes back she tries to hit on Joe but Joe just feels uncomfortable. Nick comes down and takes his brothers into the kitchen to tell them everything and he is really worried about her. He starts to break down but Kevin tells him he has to be strong for Jordan. They decide that they just have to get rid of Laura and go from there. Meanwhile, Ella asks Laura what theyre doing there and Laura finally tells her. She gets angry, but Laura holds strong saying that theyd all be better off if all three had died. Thats when Nick walks back out and says that he wouldnt be better off. He says that he loves Jordan and everyones a little shocked. He tells off Laura, but right when hes about to curse at her, their parents walk back in. Nick just goes back upstairs without a word, and Joe takes their parents to the kitchen to catch them up.Ella tells Laura off and leaves. Nick texts Kevin telling him that Jordan has no idea who Ella is so she has nothing to do with what Laura did to Jordan. Kevin runs after her and catches up to her, telling her he knows she had nothing to do with it. Ella shares that she thinks she has too much faith in humanity, and Kevin tells her that hell take care of her while shes still in Jersey.
