| 8800 GTX Graphics Card ErrorWed, 17 Dec 2008 05:51:08 -0800 by yemethMy graphics card seems to have broken quite suddenly. At first it would still run normally when not in a 3D application (games etc.). Then a few minutes later even the Windows Vista AERO desktop produced glitches followed by sudden restarts. Windows Vista Basic now (which isn't as 3D accelerated as AERO) runs somewhat, but not very reliably as shown in the video. Related: gpuerror |

| GTA IV PC GameplayTue, 09 Dec 2008 11:44:17 -0800 by pelvistVista Ultimate x64Q66008800GTX4GB RamRecorded with GTA IV Video Editor-------------- -------------------- -------------------- ----------For any of you that are interested in buying a gaming PC but think its too expensive, I have posted hyperlinks to help you and show you that PC's arent as expensive as you may think they are. When a new console is released its hardware is allready years behind PC hardware of that date but the prices of consoles keep getting higher and higher. So when the next generation of consoles come out (ie PS4 xbox640x480) how much will they be?The PS3 was $499 (20GB) and $599 (60GB) when it was released in the US. This website has a guide that will teach you how to buld a gaming PC for less than that, with popular parts that are more than capable of running todays PC games and are also suitible for future upgrades.http://tech report.com/articles. x/15941/2http://tech report.com/articles. x/13671Some good websites for computer parts. | GTA IV PC 8800GTXThu, 04 Dec 2008 19:57:14 -0800 by pcvideogamerThis video is in HD (1280x720) recorded from screen using HD video camera. If you have an 8800GTX goto your NV control panel and set 'max pre-rendered frames to 1' textures on medium (high will lose frame rate) you can also turn off 'clip-capture' under 'game' also a fast CPU will make all the difference, Quad core recommended.Set your distance to under 20, shadows low, render quality to high, traffic to about 20 (any more is too crowded) detail-distance can be very high if you want and get some new NV drivers!Stop any anti-virus programs, stop resource hogs etc and have fun!
