| Unreal I - Mecha Drones Beta 4 (Read Description)Wed, 07 Jan 2009 18:37:25 -0800 by ShinDarkfoxThis is Roger 666's "Walker" model from Quake 2 put in Unreal and given an AI and called them simply "Mecha Drones". The placeholder audio is that of the Hunter from Half-Life 2 which may be replaced with other mechanical howls.The base skin was slightly improved given a kind of metallic shine.Things to note: These guys are TOUGH as HELL in packs. They fire somewhat accurately and can even decapitate you, they fire dual missiles, and at close range punt you like a football, and SOMETIMES even jump in the air and stomp you. This slightly modified Trench map shows just how close they stick together, an idea I got from Half-Life 2 Episode 2, and how it's better to just run away from them.You know when they are chasing you because the earth shakes as they do, and if they jump and land near you, you'll fly into the air a bit (as seen near the end). They are at near-completion stages.
