| MacBook Pro 10.5.6 Dock Issue/bugWed, 07 Jan 2009 15:20:40 -0800 by LgvoyagerguyThis is My MacBook Pro that i have had since april of 2008 and everything has gone pretty well with it so far...........well not really......at one point about 4 months after i had it the middle row of the keyboard just stopped working so i took it to the Apple Store and they put a new keyboard on it and said that everything was ok....well it wasn't......i brought it home and i had the same problem...so i took it back to the apple store and they replaced the top case (the aluminum casing around the keyboard/trackpad) and they said they tested it and it worked like it was new.......well i dont know what the hell they were thinking cause i brought it home and the damn thing still didnt work. Off to the Apple Store i went for the third time and they said they would have to send it to Apple's HeadQuarters in Cupertino Ca. ( which is pretty sick....ive been there) so then i got the thing back again after 4 weeks across the country (im in the suburbs of D.C.). And finally it worked........becaus e they had to give me a whole new computer. And they said that for all of the trouble i had to go through they kindly upgraded me to a new 2.6 GHz processor (before it was a 2.4GHz) and they had also upgraded me to 4GB of RAM ( before it was the standard 2GB)So other then that i found this a little strange so i just threw this one together for you to enjoy Related: apple macbook iphonenano blackberry god potato carpet boat cardboard seinfeld |

The MMORPG completely flopped in the end due to various issues, and the servers and website no longer operate.A little bit of Battle footage with a Deer, but mostly flying about.I guess this is for the folks who enjoyed the game, and feel nostalgic, heh.Btw, this was when I had my old computer, which partially explains the lag at scenes like 0:50, where I get stuck flying. When you move fast on a Griffin, or the large flying Dragon Transports (Not featured in this video), approaching complicated area's like Cities would cause this on my Old (and New) Machine to struggle/choke up. The GIGANTIC land was completely seamless, with a 40km view range (I think that's right), and the Client struggles when too many polygons pop up I guess.Also, my old computer was a Athlon XP 2.4Ghz, 2Gb DDR1 with a GeForce FX5600 256Mb Graphics Card, which was a bit low-end for this game. | Warcraft 3 TFT DotA on a Macbook Pro 2.4 Ghz 15"Tue, 06 Jan 2009 18:22:50 -0800 by humourless31328As promised a video to Demo Dota 5v5 (rd) online. This vid Demo's DotA (mod for Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne) and show you how this game runs on the Apple Macbook Pro 2.4 GHz (version 3,1). I'm not a DotA Pro, and the little pile of books in front of me makes it a little bit harder to play ;-) But then again, this vid is a demo and no to show my lack of skill. Cheers. The Macbook Pro is running in Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.6 and the specs of the machine are: 2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo (santa rosa - merom) 15.4 inch 4GB ram DDR2 667Mhz 160 GB 7200 RPM HD GeForce 8600M 256 DDR3 VRAM Average FPS 90 (70-150+ FPS) The Settings are 1440x900 resolution, everything High ofcourse. It's a pretty light game as you can see it runs fine in Mac OS X 10.5.6 (Leopard). In Windows you'll get some more FPS I guess (cause of Direct X) but since the humaneye can't see more then 60 FPS I kinda don't care. Btw WC3 & TFT expention are both Win&Mac Disks. Enjoy!
