| "Sensational" Christmas Light Show that you can see, hear, touch and smell!Thu, 08 Jan 2009 16:30:54 -0800 by MicronesiaMallManMicronesia Mall's 2008 Holiday Lights presentation featured a total sensory experience for 4 of your senses this past Christmas season. Audiences were excited to see tens of thousands of computerized, synchronized lights, hearing dynamic Christmas music via a 1600 watt stereo system located inside of the 35 foot tall mega-tree, the children were delighted to touch the falling snow produced by 3 Hollywood snow making machines and new this year was the "scents of the season" that were produced by 4 DMX controlled aroma machines. The entire show was powered by Light-O-Rama controllers and software. Micronesia Mall is the largest shopping mall in the Western Pacific located on the tropical island of Guam, a US territory. 2008 was the third year that the Holiday Lights Experience entertained Guam's residents and tourists. | Rewards1 ProofWed, 07 Jan 2009 22:35:02 -0800 by MacnTaphttp://www.freegames andprizes.tkHave you ever wondered what it would be like to earn free stuff? I am going to cut to the chase right away, and spare you all this, You dont have to do a single thing to earn $50!, because it simply isnt true! Earning free stuff does take some work, but it sure beats paying for stuff! Lets say, you wanted to buy a Nintendo Wii, but they are out of stock everywhere! You could get it from Rewards1, free! I will show you how, with these 3 simple steps! 1. Offers. Offers are basically surveys, but you get paid to take them! The average you get paid to take them is 1 point (1 point=1 dollar)! The average time to take a survey is about 5 minutes. That's 12 points per hour! Lets not forget, this is all done on a computer! If you have the right tools (Roboform, Cookie Cleaner, etc), you could get a survey done in less than 2 minutes, making your profit 30 points an hour! Now, there is the occasional offer that doesn't credit, but there is a way to prevent that from happening again! Before you do anything, try to complete the offer again, carefully looking at the instructions, you might have done it wrong the first time. If that doesn't work, take note of the domain name of the offer that didn't credit (Rewards1 often has the same offer suppliers coming back), and just don't do those offers again. Check out the Offer Guide here! 2. Referrals. This is my main source of revenue. Rewards1 is a big website, and they want as many people as possible to come to it! That is why, they pay you to promote they're site! When you sign up, they give you a referral link, it looks something like this: http://www.freegames andprizes.tkWhen people click on it, it will redirect them to Rewards1, with one little change. When they sign up using your referral link, you will earn 20% of the points they make, without taking away any points from them! I have a perfect example about how referrals can be a perfect source of revenue! When I checked 2 months ago, I had 350 referrals (From my Rewards1 Youtube videos mostly). I went on vacation for a couple weeks, and when I came back, my computer crashed (Do NOT download things with spy ware people!). A couple months later, I got it up and running! I checked Rewards1, to see if I made anymore points. To my surprise, I had made 500 points for not doing anything on the computer for the past couple months! With those points I bought a PS3 and 2 games for it! So as you can see, referrals can be a terrific way to make points! 3. Claiming your prize. Once you have enough points, go to the Available Prize section. There, you will find pages and pages of prizes you could claim if you have enough points! Most of the stuff consists of video game related items. Not interested in video games? Don't worry! Rewards1 will let you custom order anything you want (If it's from a reputable site, such as Amazon or Ebay)! After you claim your prize, go to View Prize Claims, you should see the prize you requested, and it will almost certainly say Pending. In a day or two, your prize should go from pending to processed. Once it is processed, they ship it through UPS. It should get there in a few days. Once you receive your prize, I highly recommend making a Youtube proof that it works video, with your referral link on the side, so you can make even more points, so the cycle repeats itself until you're buried in free stuff! Like I said before, all of this stuff takes some work, but its far worth it! You can sign up at http://www.freegames andprizes.tkTo learn more, go to www.freewebs.com/fre e1600livepoints DISCLAIMER: I do not own Rewards1. This movie is for the pure form of entertainment. I also do not own the song, "Takin' a Ride" by Don Felder, which is entirely his property. | Presidents welcome the New Guy | WHITE HOUSE | It's Obama, Bush & Bush, Clinton & Carter !Wed, 07 Jan 2009 18:28:09 -0800 by SootySpinIt's Obama, Bush & Bush, Clinton & Carter at the White House. [ JANUARY 07 2009 ]PRESIDENTIAL POWER LUNCH :It was the most exclusive lunch in the world -- the menu and the agenda were secret, but one can be sure there was a lot on their plate.President-elec t Barack Obama met today with President George Bush and three former presidents in the first meeting of living presidents at the White House since 1981.All of the gentlemen here understand both the pressures and possibilities of this office, Obama told reporters before the lunch. And for me to have the opportunity to get advice, good counsel, and fellowship with these individuals is extraordinary.Asked what he will learn from his predecessors' mistakes, Obama smiled and said he will learn from "their successes.""I think [what] we all share is that we want you to succeed. Whether we're Democrat or Republican, we care deeply about this country. And to the extent we can, we look forward to sharing our experiences with you," President Bush said."All of us who have served in this office understand that the office itself transcends the individual -- and we wish you all the very best," the outgoing president said.Obama met with Bush for half an hour before sitting down with former presidents Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton, without any staff present. While the five men have had their vocal differences in the past, none of the tension was on display at a photo op in the Oval Office."Although they may disagree on some policy prescriptions in order to solve problems in America, they're obviously all rooting for the same team," White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said before the meeting.Afterwards, Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs issued a statement: "They had a very constructive conversation," he said. "The president-elect was grateful for their counsel and the spirit of bipartisanship they showed in wishing his administration success in meeting the challenges we all share as Americans. The president and the former presidents had helpful advice on managing the office as well as thoughts on the critical issues facing the country right now. The president-elect is anxious to stay in touch with all of them in the coming years."Perino issued a separate statement, saying: "President Bush was delighted to have the former presidents and President-elect Obama to the White House today for a historic lunch in the Private Dining Room just off of the Oval Office. Each of them expressed their desire for President-elect Obama to have a very successful presidency. During the lunch, they had a wide-ranging discussion on many different issues facing the United States, and they all look forward to remaining in contact in the future."Before the meeting Perino said the meeting would likely touch on both the business and personal aspecets of living at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave."There'll be time to talk about issues that are -- face the country currently, issues that they think might face the country in the future," she said. "But I'm sure they'll also have a chance to talk about experiences and memories that they have in the White House, both on the personal side, about -- such as raising a family in the public eye, raising a family in the White House, and also what it's like to be in the post-presidency, as President Bush is about to experience in about 12 days."She added that the leaders were likely to discuss the nation's economic woes and the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.President Bush and President-elect Obama have developed a good relationship, and I'm sure that it will be deepened today, Perino told reporters. But one of the reasons that they've developed that good relationship is that they've been able to keep their conversations private.http://blogs .abcnews.com/politic alradar/2009/01/meet ing-of-the.html Related: jimmy carter george bush hw bill washington dc clinton photo opportunity white house press conference oval office president joint appearance meet eat dine meeting historic lunch power elect | |
