| Ride with a Ferrari F40 CompetizioneThu, 08 Jan 2009 16:04:16 -0800 by VinceNakanoA drive with my italian pal in Italy with his Ferrari F40 from 1987. Info about this supercar:The F40's light weight of 1100 kg (2425 lb) and high power output of 478 PS (352 kW; 471 hp) at 7000 rpm gave the vehicle tremendous performance potential. Road tests have produced 0-100 km/h (62 mph) times as low as 3.8 seconds (while the track only version came in at 3.2 seconds), with 0-160 km/h (100 mph) in 7.6 seconds and 0-200 km/h (125 mph) in 11 seconds giving the F40 a slight advantage in acceleration over the Porsche 959, its primary competitor at the time. The F40 was the first road legal production car to break the 200 mph (322 km/h) barrier. From its introduction in 1987 until 1989, it held the record as the world's fastest production car, with a top speed of 324 km/h (201 mph); Related: ferrari f40 competizione supercar fast speed very nice |

| Tim Lincecum Tribute - 2008 Cy Young WinnerThu, 08 Jan 2009 05:31:19 -0800 by mybabyjunior19Timothy LeRoy Lincecum (born June 15, 1984 in Bellevue, Washington) is a starting pitcher for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball. Nicknamed "The Franchise"[1] and "The Freak",[2] Lincecum's first major league start occurred on a nationwide ESPN broadcast on the evening of May 6, 2007.[3] He throws right-handed and bats left-handed.[4] Lincecum is known for his long stride, sharp mechanics, and ability to generate high velocity despite his slight build. (5'10" 172lbs.)[5] Lincecum won the 2008 NL Cy Young Award, becoming the first second-year player to win the Cy Young since Dwight Gooden and Bret Saberhagen both won in 1985.[6] Lincecum can throw his two-seam fastball at nearly 100 mph, and he maintains a game velocity in the 9397 mph range. He also has a curveball that is thrown at about 80 mph, with a short quick break that permits him to be a high strikeout pitcher without an excessive pitch count. Lincecum uses a changeup that he grips similar to a splitter to offset his top two pitches and keep batters off-balance and has recently added a cut fastball which breaks down and in against left-handers. He has quickly established himself as one of the top pitchers in the game. Related: tim licecum timothy leroy lincecum baseball pitcher cy young san francisco giants sf giants |

| 100mph oversteer clip, off-line (regular speed)Sat, 03 Jan 2009 19:37:16 -0800 by boostluvrWhat is things not to do at 100mph Alex. I barely touch the blue and white striped edging but it's enough to upset the balance of the car and send the back around a bit. Whats really O_O is the multiple skid marks from other people in the exact same spot, they didn't manage to correct though. I was off line because this stupid mercedes AMG Black finally let me pass after holding me up for a bunch of corners prior to me basically ramming him off the road which scared him enough to finally point me buy (clips of that later) Related: 100mph oversteer clip |

| 100mph oversteerSat, 03 Jan 2009 19:35:58 -0800 by boostluvrFollowing a fucking rolling chicane of an AMG black, idiot keeps holding me up in corners and then flooring it on the straights instead of giving me a point by right away (unrestricted passing in this group so he can give it anywhere he pleases, which he obviously doesn't feel like)Decide (incorrectly) that the only way to get him to let me pass is to basically ram him off the road. I do and he messees up the hair pin because he cant drive and is probably now paying more attention to the little z4 up his tailpipe then the track. Finally lets me pass so I'm off line and BARELY kiss the blue/white edging (or it might have been that concrete patch, but I think it was the edging) but it's enough to unbalance the car and send the back out. I give a little correction which isn't enough followed by a much bigger one then drive off never to see the AMG black again (that session, I see him again the next session and the bastard does the same thing and it almost turns out very badly.)
