| Tribute to XGemini - a.k.a. Robby NeichinThu, 11 Dec 2008 04:09:06 -0800 by ronmowerRobby was an online friend of mine for 4 years. Today is the one year anniversary of his untimely death. He died on Dec. 11th 2007 from a car wreck. I thought I would pay tribute to him by making this video. This video is not only for him but for his friends and family. Thanks to Robbys mom Cindy for the pictures. Ending pic edited by Calbhach.Robby is a guy who loved video games(Mega Man in particular), and collecting swords. I never knew him in person, but he was a very nice guy. Back when I first joined a group he created, Gaming Utopia, before he shut it down, he was the only manager who was nice to me. I remember the other managers in the group voting for me to be banned, but Robby voted against that. Gemini was a HUGE fan of Mega Man, I am sure that is no secret to the people who knew him. He loved the Mega Man series with a passion. We first met in the summer of 2003 in the MSN chat group "Mega Man's Club House", where he was still assistant manager until his unfortunate death. Around that time I decided to leave the group, and Gemini saw my farewell post on the group. I had stated something like "Email me if you want to continue discussing Mega Man with me." So he emailed me and we became online friends quickly. I joined his group Gaming Utopia. Then he decided to "revamp" the group by making "Classic Gaming Utopia." He said that Gaming Utopia was originally supposed to be about classic games. He was a really nice guy to talk to, and I was lucky to have him as a internet friend for years. We haven't talked much in a long time, but I wish we had before his death. The old saying is true, "Tomorrow is promised to no man."The music used in this video is from Mega Man 3s ending. If I am not mistaken, MM3 was Robbys favorite MM game. The ending pic is the last part of the MM3 ending, whereas instead of Proto Mans face in the sky, Calbhach edited Robbys face in the sky, as if Robby is smiling down on us from Heaven. If you want to see the "ST2K Show - Tribute to XGemini" show that I made shortly after his death last year, click the link below.http://www.vid dler.com/explore/st2 k/videos/18/ R.I.P. Robby. You are still missed, we have not forgotten.XGeminia.k .a.Robby Neichin1988-2007 Related: tribute video |
